A progressive is someone who loves America. He believes in the rights of others especially the downtrodden and disenfranchised of America as well as the world. He believes in the Little guy! and doesn't believe everything has to be driven by the almighty buck. He sees no skin color. He believe in choices such as Abortion and stem cell research. The rights of two people to live together no matter what their gender. He is not a Bully who pushes his views on others with veiled threats of reprisals. He hates war, but will defend his country if necessary, but not at the cost of his constitution or laws of the land. Most of all he loves people and his right to have freedom from unwarranted invasions of this freedom. Most of all he is a humanist who tries and sees good in mankind. He is Religious or not, and respects each persons views about God and life.
