A progressive person is someone who thinks in terms of social justice by: 1) Leaving none behind, creating opportunities for those who have less2) Considering a “socially just” proportional way of redistributing the national wealth by taxing less those whose income is limited and taxing more and proportionally to those whose incomes are high and higher3) Expanding social services which are a national civic obligation4) Accepting opposing views and integrating them in a reasonable social covenant5) Defending and expanding civil liberties6) Excluding none on the basis of race, ethnicity, ability, age or sexual orientation8) Integrating religious beliefs that support and inform social justice principles
