After the great depression so many people finally came to a point of doing things different. Even though it meant losing the current job they had, getting beaten or even getting death threats. It was a matter of justice and dignity. That generation fought for our generation to have justice on our jobs, healthcare programs, and retirement options that would save people from having to go into the poor house. What happened? So many have continued the struggles and yet so many more took all of these things for granted, assuming those things would always be there. Well, these things are not guaranteed. We are in the process of heading right back to the way it was prior to the Great Depression. We need to be progressive in that we have to do things different than we have been. It's time to UNITE and FIGHT for injustice! Grassroots, working in the trenches and getting our hands dirty just like they did after the great depression. We can't be afraid to hurt someones feelings or to suggest a new idea. We have to be open to try new ideas and then quick to implement rather than talk ourselves out of it. Our jobs are leaving if we don't try something new we will be holding our bowls of bean soup and bread just LIKE THEY DID AFTER THE GREAT DEPRESSION!!!
