Don't mistake us for what the Bush team likes to call 'Liberals' because that's not what we are. At our core, we hold a strong conservative base. We believe in the 10 Commandments and the Bill of Rights. We use these beliefs to focus on a better America where there realy is JUSTICE and EQUALITY. Unlike the NeoCons that run our country, we believe there's always a smarter way to build that better mousetrap. We don't try to force others into doing things our way nor would we punish those who disaggree. Those are big differences! Progressives aren't locked into doing things the same old way. Just because someone has been able to milk our economy for years doesn't give them the right to keep doing it. Supply and Demand. That's what makes our economy work. Energy prices are high because what we have is 'the only game in town.' Change the options and you lesson the demand. Prices fall. Republicans are supposed to already know this..but they ignore it because they don't want any competition for their friends. Progressives believe there is more at stake than the personal fortunes of a few families. The future of our families and our very planet are at stake! We want to protect them in the smartest way that we can.At heart, I think most people are more Progressive than 'Conservative.' They just need to hear what it means and to know that they aren't alone.
