Growing up in rural America, my beliefs were cemented in Democratic values. I believe in social values and hard work. I appreciate saving and sound financial spending. I believe in growth economics and public programs.I support the universal health-care system, Social Security and Medicare. I’m one who believes in security. I think we need to maintain friendly relations with our allies and the United Nations. Negotiations, discussions, and understandings are essential to achieving peace and security. Energy and our environment are essential to our well-being. I think that preserving and developing alternative energy will secure our pursuit of happiness.
