In my opinion, a progressive is a person who is facilitating the growth and expansion of the full empowerment of all living beings. A progressive will take on governments, corporations or individuals who subvert the full flowering and peaceful right to exist of any living being, including animals. In my view, a progressive realizes that in an institutional society, such as all 1st world societies, powerful institutions can subvert the full flowering of human development and the tide of human progress. A progressive presses for and even fights for the room for all beings to develop to their full potential. Life is more sacred than any institution is a guiding principal.
