Progressive can mean many things to many people. In the 1980s it became the 'Buzz Word' used by many Liberal Democrats who were afraid to admit that they were Liberals because the Reaganites tried to make Liberal a bad word. Recently Republicans who are upset with Bush and themselves for believing the NEO-CON lies so long now are trying to say they are Progressives. They however refuse to admit that us LIBERAL DEMOCRATS were right all along.
