Progressives are about fairness for women, children, and those who struggle. They oppose wars, the death penalty, and selling out for corporate profits. We are in favor of fair wages and against exploitation of workers. Every human being must have access to quality health care, not just the wealthy. Quality education is a guarantee to all who wish to learn including higher education, instead of building more prisons. It is acceptance of those who are different including: the disabled, LGBT, and ethnic and religions minorities. Protecting the environment is a high priority and recognizing all have a right to survive.
