Progressives are every man (and woman), who wants to leave the world better than the state it is in. We want our children to have job opportunities that won't leave them because someone will do it cheaper in a 3rd world. We desire that all have access to affordable housing, education and healthcare not the super rich. We want a middle class to continue be a part of the American backbone, not a past memory mentioned in a history book or just a vague recollection by the elderly. We don't want our government monitoring our every step, every breathe and every thought. We believe the government should be for the people like the Founders stated not for amassing wealth via the multinational corporations.
