Progressives are socially conscious people who recognize the interconnectedness of all peoples and the planet and therefore advocate for environmental sustainability, peace, freedom, social justice, equality, tolerance, compassion, fairness, kindness, education, and universal healthcare. As Americans we support and value the spirit of the constitution, particularly separation of church and state, and balance of power. In order to protect these values we advocate for verified voting and the elimination of campaign contributions of special interests, thus returning power to citizens. Internationally, we advocate Fair Trade and helping to eliminate world poverty and hunger and the spread of disease.
