Progressives are the backbone of this nation. Without progressives, or people interested in promoting progression in and around our society, there would be no movement. Movement is imperative for society because countless aspects about our daily lives move ahead with or without us. Progressives invent, take chances, are passionate, and care deeply about the future. Progressives understand the uses of the past, but do not dwell on it. They simply use the past as a tool to create better opportunities for tomorrow. Progressives are ordinary people who understand that we have a limited amount of time on this Earth, and want to seize the day to make their lives better, and maybe if not their lives directly, the lives of their children or others around them.
