'Progressives' consider it a responsibility to learn more and make the world a better place. Actions speak louder than words, so you ride a bike instead of driving, use mass transit, recycle what is recycleable, buy products in recycled materials, eat organic food (because you don't want to be part of greater demise of your home) ,and educate others by doing the right thing. A progressive is not interested in pillaging and plundering the planet but the antithesis. Cogitating about the planet, fellow man/earthdwellers as a whole, not a nation but a world, and what is best for all.
