We support change when it furthers these causes, and that usually antagonizes the powerful and wealthy. Our causes are always accepted as truths, eventually, but they are seen as lost causes when the fight begins, mocked as impossibilities, pipe dreams. Progressives have a vision of the world being a better place, and we're willing to work to make that vision a reality.
