Progressives share a vision of a just and egalitarian society that is in (a relatively) sustainable balance with regard to its extraction/production, processing, and use of natural resources in order to live in a way that is comfortable for all. Just as important, we have realistic ideas about how to attain to such a way of life. Being connected with the many different aspects and parts of our natural and social world, and in a fashion that preserves personal autonomy and initiative feeds our hunger to live, to work and play - together - with dignity and love; it is consistent with our best personal mental health and will feed a great growth spurt in personal and social development.
