The thing about being a Progressive is that it's what I've always been. The key word in “Progressive” is “Progress”, and I believe that our ingenuity and innovation will take us to a brighter future with our problems solved once we overcome the selfish greed that has taken over government. Government can be used to improve the lives of everyone, and only government can be the champion of fairness and responsibility, as the private sector has proved itself unworthy. This differentiates my Progressive views from the lesser government, every man for themselves, present consensus as day differentiates itself from night.
