What is a progressive?A progressive is a college student who supports some parts of the U.S.-led war on terror, but not the war in Iraq.A progressive is a small business owner who supports 'small business' republicans, but not big business democrats- even though they voted for a third party candidate for governor.A progressive is an upper-class mother of two who doesn't want taxes cuts, but rather funding of critical social programs in her state and community.Progressives are democrats, republicans, independents, and everything else in between.Progressives tend to see 'the bigger picture', and fight to protect at-risk members of society- while remembering that we do live in a capitalist society.Progressives are the defenders of the constitution and leaders of the future.
