A Progressive is someone who cares about more than themselves, who cares about the majority of Americans who are not wealthy, who believes everyone should have a voice and an opportunity, who fights for the underdog and does the right thing because it’s better for everyone, not just a narrow interest. It’s someone who looks and works into the future based upon the sacrifices and achievements of the past, who understands that while the power structure places the average person at a disadvantage, when we the people organize we can overcome any oppressive obstruction and make the future as bright as it can possibly be.
