A Progressive is someone who cares about society in general, not just about themselves. It's not just all about 'me.' A Progressive believes that the government should take an active role in if not solving the problems of society; to improve the problems of society. To be progressive means to move forward with change towards the better for the good of all the people not just the select few at the top and that would involve making government at all levels; national, state and local more efficient and less corrupt.
