A contemporary Progressive is well-rooted in the principles of civilization, as much as s/he is in the precepts of her/his own country's guiding principles, be they found in The Declaration of Independence, The Bill of Rights, or The Constitution, and knows how to apply those principles toward a more perfect Union, without exclusive regard to social status, economic class, nor any other inherent characteristics, visual, chosen or preferential; thusly, a true Progressive maintains an unfettered Conservatism of principled justice, and can apply this foundation to the rights and the needs of any and all members of society.
