A progressive believes that: We live in an integrated society and need a strong government that insures the health and safety of ALL citizens. Government must invest in public education, ensure access to health care for ALL citizens, and ensure that a healthy environment, is not violated in the name of profit. The USA is part of a larger global society. We need to respect other’s differences and find commonalities that will lead to greater cooperation. Social decisions should never be made on the basis of any one religious value. There is nothing more important than non-partisan truthfulness.
