A progressive in my estimation would approach the challenges of the present day much as an energenic RFK used to suggest that we 'Not look to the past and ask why, but look to the future and ask why not'. A derivative of the word progressive is progress and is hence something that we all need to strive for. Progress and progressivism are needed more than ever to address todays economic, ecological, political, and humanitarian challenges. Staying the course is no longer enough. Progressives need to pick up and carry the torch for the sake of future generations.
