Rather, they are willing to seek a solution from a broad range of choices that will have the greatest positive effect for the most number of citizens, particularly the least fortunate among us. In addition, they recognize that the freedoms provided by the Bill of Rights are responsible for the success and prosperity of this nation and defend them with all their might. Finally, a progressive has respect and compassion for all people.
