A progressive is a liberal without all the baggage that term implies - and a little bit more. Progressives want to focus on providing positive change for our country and its citizens. We want to get rid of the negative and alarmist polemics that have turned off and disenfranchised so many. We want to raise all boats so we can all enjoy the rights and privileges in living in a free and prosperous society that respects other views and promotes responsibility, integrity and dignity for all.
