A progressive is someone who looks for solutions to the problems we all face. A progressive is someone who sees long term benefit over short term gain. A progressive is someone who will act to do what is right even when it can hurt them individually. A progressive is FDR giving jobs to the jobless, LBJ enfranchising millions of Americans, and Al Gore having the foresight to fund the internet. The former and all progressives act in a way that shows that when we look outside ourselves we can do better.
