A progressive is a person who perceives democracy as a real time process. It is the creating of our future by a partnership of all citizens to attain a quality life for everyone including the members of our society who do not have a vote. It is inclusive of our environment as a living entity and our transnational partners as being just as important as our coloquial interests. A partnership society is in direct contrast to a domination society controlled by the specific interests of the largest voting block or highest campaign budget who perceive an election victory a mandate to acheive their own selfish goals at the expense of the 'losers'.
