A progressive is a person who realizes the universe is larger than themself. As children all of us were conservative. We did not share our toys- unless forced to by parents, we were selfish and greedy, we were the center of our universe. As we matured, some of us came to realize that the universe is larger than ourselve, we learned to share resources with others willingly, in order to make life better for everyone. Our approach to problem solving is based on possibilities and optimism. At that point we call ourselves PROGRESSIVE.
