A progressive is a person who refuses to accept that things should remain the same without a valid reason, but instead continually seeks out new solutions. A person who values what all people have to offer, without disenfranchising groups of people for being different. A progressive is not someone who is 'politically correct'. Unfortunately, we have people who focus too much on the PC issue, and others who won't accept anyone different from themselves.My ideal 'progressive' is someone who is involved with various groups, and works to encourage harmony in our future.
