a progressive is an individual who carries a social and political outlook that looks towards a brighter future for all people all over the planet. a progressive thinks outside the bounds of churches, political groups, cities, states, countries. a progressive is pro people, pro environment, pro diversity, pro education for all and pro life (on the planet.) a progressive thinks in terms of the scientific evidence, in terms of history adn in terms of ethics; not neccessarily in terms of how to make the biggest buck. and s/he supports ideas that are sustainable for the planet and all the plants and beings on it, through time.
