A progressive is another word forDemocrat. They are fair minded, concerned about 'at the dinner table' family issues, accepts that the world is changing and can adapt to it. They care about the poor and working class, and not just focused on the rich and one hard core religous view as is the 'Conservative', whose main focus is their way or NO way! They are willing to use diplomatic measures to solve issues with other countries and not just going in 'willy nilly' killing and unjust wars. In simpler terms they are more 'Christ Like'.
