Traditional politics have put the country into a battle to maintain the status quo, but it is clear that the current path is getting us nowhere. Progressives are interested in moving forward, embracing the ideals and ideas that create a nation that is blind to a person's background, ethnicity, income, or abilities. We believe in a government that works for the people and which considers the future consequences of its policies as critically as their immediate impact.
