A progressive is not just a person, but a movement of ideas. Ideas that are clear about the content of our lives and what it should encompass. It is an idea that begins with humans having what original humans had: clean water, clean air, and healthy food -naturalness in our daily life. These ideas are promoted by people who are not afraid of tackling the difficult and complex issues in a rational manner without prejudice, making room for all input and encouraging participation in the process of finding solutions. It is an idea as well as awhole system of following thru on outcomes of issues. Progressives are not afraid of hard work when it brings about a lifestyle that is wholesome and free of greed. We have the gift of respect: of working together, of meeting life head on without endangering others and still meeting the needs of individuals. It is a helping idea which is not aggressive.We are inclusive not exclusive. We sincerely want the best for humanity and do not want to force others into lives that we have decided are best for them. We are the ones who truly believe in individualism and liberty. And we care about the welfare of this USA.
