A progressive thinker knows that those who become enamored by political debates, are divided by issues that have reached the public eye. They know that the real issues lie beyond the myopic exploits of media merchants and omitted within the political rhetoric, which is designed to augment this incessant calamity. Call it 'divide and conquer', or 'wag the dog' where only that which is suitable for public knowledge reaches its destination. A true progressive is a visonary who sees the truths that need to be revealed, creates and/or understands the methods to achieve it, and can gain the support of those who would otherwise be debating irrelevant issues.
