A progressive is somebody that believes that decisions should be made from an altruistic point of view and not made based on self serving reasons or to pay back political favors. A progressive perceives issues from a world point of view, not just a national or local view. A progressive believes that our world society is evolving to become a better more altruistic world and we need to make changes to get our country and the world back on the track we were on.
