A progressive is someone that wants to achieve what is best for our country in a moral and responsible way. A progressive wants to return to the hopes and promises reflected in our constitution for all people, not just the rich and powerful. A progressive believes in the teachings of Jesus that we need to care for the poor, the children, the needy, and our environment. Big cooperations and businesses would not be allowed to run our country. A progressive wants to bring back the American Dream for all Americans. A progressive believes in working out differences with other countries in a peaceful way through talking and understanding of others positions. War is an absolute last resort for a progressive. A progressive believes pro-life applies to all lives, not just the unborn. A progressive believes in holding those in power to an accountablility not seen in these past years. Progressives stand up and say what they believe, without worrying about political fall out. Progressives have values that they not only state, but live. Now that would be progress!
