A Progressive is someone who bases their beliefs on common sense and uses their knowledge of current events to form fresh opinions and ideas - not someone who is stuck in traditions and/or belief systems that are outdated and do not apply to our current global community. A Progressive does not condone racism or sexism, nor do they judge anyone based on their age. A Progressive believes that everyone has the right to be spiritual, but religious beliefs should not be debated within the political platform. A Progressive recognizes that we have something to learn from each member of our global community, and we must create a system of government that is fair to all.
