A progressive is someone who believes that government must be a democratically elected body that is dedicated to improving the lives of its citizens and the citizens of the world. We believe in: affordable health care, living peacefully with our neighbors of the world, policies that sustain the environment, affordable wages for those who work and compassionate support for those who can't work. We believe that all people should be afforded respect and that our human differences are to be celebrated. We believe in the power of the grassroots and that real change comes from an active and educated citizenry.
