A progressive is someone who cares deeply about the environment, providing jobs & health care for everyone, protecting our democratic rights &freedoms, & fairly taxing each of us in order to provide the things that individuals cannot provide for themselves, such as fire & police protection, highways & schools. It is a question of thinking forward to the future of the planet, of all of children & grandchildren.
