A progressive is someone who does not go along with what the Republicans in both the White House & Congress are doing, which is leading to the destruction of this country. A progressive is also someone who spearheads projects involving fixing our corrupt electoral system & volunteering in activities that educate voters on what the Republicans have done to this nation & what can be done to inspire change. Progressives need to educate voters about the issues & get them to realize that such issues as the Iraq War & the economy are the really important issues & not such issues as banning gay marriage & abortion. Finally, Democrats need to get back to its base & fight for the average American & not a rubber stamp for the Bush-Cheney administration.
